In March of 2022, I began a regular habit of writing small poems in the mornings while having my coffee. I did not try to force them to be an everyday occurrence, but did try to make myself available to observing the world with care and consideration during that year and slightly into 2023. Part of this was due to my living situation at the time and having a sun porch that afforded a lovely view.

I posted these as a newsletter that will be shutting down (Mailchimp’s Tinyletter service) in 2024 and so they are living here now. Most of them were from mornings, but there are a few that I wrote at other times of the day.
